Eureka Water Treatment Plant Upgrades and Elevated Tank Rehabilitation

Mendrop is currently providing the Eureka Water Association with professional engineering services. This rural water association is located in Panola County east of Batesville and serves approximately 450 users. The water system includes approximately fifty miles of water lines, two active wells, an iron removal treatment plant, and one elevated tank.

For this project, Mendrop completed the engineering report including the design of upgrades to the water treatment facility. Mendrop helped the utility submit an application for funds from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) Loan Program. Improvements planned with the USDA RD funds include elevated tank rehabilitation and water treatment plan upgrades.
