In 2021, Mendrop began work on the Bristol Crossing portion of the development.

Fannye Cook Nature Trails are nestled between the Pearl River and the metropolitan area of Flowood, MS. Originally purchased by the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) to serve as the Pearl River Basin Mitigation Bank and then acquired by Wildlife Mississippi in 2014 for the purpose of educating the public regarding conservation of fish, wildlife, and plants, and encouraging them to become responsible stewards of Mississippi's natural resources; providing quality outdoor recreational opportunities; and conserving habitat, especially wetland and stream habitat.

Working with the Panola Partnership, the City of Batesville, Panola County, and Northwest Community College, Mendrop has taken the lead on concept development, cost estimating, and project coordination for this innovative plan.

The City of Batesville, along with cooperation and funding from the Mississippi Department of Transportation Local Public Agency (LPA) funds, developed, planned, and constructed Phase 1 and Phase 2 upgrades and enhancements to the Batesville Downtown Square. The improvements included removing and replacing sidewalks to meet ADA standards, as well as the addition of new curb, lights, and handicap ramps to provide a friendlier and more accessible square for downtown businesses. The Eureka Street entrance to the Square was realigned to increase safety and to improve the accessibility of pedestrian areas. As part of the plan, landscaped islands, planters, and beds were added and/or improved. Additionally, green space was made available for events such as Spring Fest and the Polar Express™ Train Ride.

Mendrop provided engineering services to the Panola Partnership for the development and ongoing improvement of the Panola County Airport Industrial Complex. An Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant helped fund the initial development and construction of two 100,000 square foot building pads, as well as paved access and water and sewer utilities at the 220-acre Airport Industrial Complex site.

In 2014, Mendrop began defining the scope of work for a new water well project to improve water capacities for the City of Batesville. Based on the existing water system configuration, a suitable location for the new water well was determined to be just east of Interstate 55 and approximately 0.8 miles south of State Highway 6.

Alcorn State University (ASU) chose Mendrop to address issues in their water system and help bring them into compliance with the Ground Water Rule. Mendrop worked with ASU and the MS State Department of Health (MSDH) to create a reasonable budget and schedule to repair and repainting of two 100,000-gallon elevated water tanks.

Mendrop has worked diligently with the City of Batesville to enhance and preserve the Batesville Mounds Park – a Mississippi Designated Landmark and notable part of the Mississippi Mounds Trail. Work includes the planning and construction of a new parking pad, railroad crossing, river observation area, and two and a half miles of paved and natural walking trails.

Significant rain in February of 2020 caused landslides along Redwood Road in Vicksburg, Mississippi, resulting in approximately 1,000 feet of damage. Mendrop was contracted to provide erosion control plans, hydraulic design analysis, and roadway design plans.
