Mendrop has provided surveying and engineering services for the overall development of this area since 2001, beginning with the initial civil engineering design and plan development for the original phase of construction in The Pinelands. In 2021, Mendrop began work on the Bristol Crossing portion of the development.

Mendrop is currently providing the Eureka Water Association with professional engineering services. This rural water association is located in Panola County east of Batesville and serves approximately 450 users. The water system includes approximately fifty miles of water lines, two active wells, an iron removal treatment plant, and one elevated tank.

In 2017, MDOT engaged Mendrop to provide Phase “A” final right-of-way plans, a stream stability study, Phase II Bridge Scour Analysis, and countermeasure design recommendations for the Fair River in the vicinity of US 84 Bridges #74.9 A and B in Lincoln County, MS. Countermeasure alternatives considered included channel realignment, relocation of a bend with longitudinal stone toe revetment and channel bank revetment, and steel sheet pile wall at the existing road emankment. Burns, Cooley, Dennis, Inc. provided bed and bank material analysis at the site.

Fannye Cook Nature Trails are nestled between the Pearl River and the metropolitan area of Flowood, MS. Originally purchased by the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) to serve as the Pearl River Basin Mitigation Bank and then acquired by Wildlife Mississippi in 2014 for the purpose of educating the public regarding conservation of fish, wildlife, and plants, and encouraging them to become responsible stewards of Mississippi's natural resources; providing quality outdoor recreational opportunities; and conserving habitat, especially wetland and stream habitat.

Working with the Panola Partnership, the City of Batesville, Panola County, and Northwest Community College, Mendrop has taken the lead on concept development, cost estimating, and project coordination for this innovative plan.

The City of Batesville, along with cooperation and funding from the Mississippi Department of Transportation Local Public Agency (LPA) funds, developed, planned, and constructed Phase 1 and Phase 2 upgrades and enhancements to the Batesville Downtown Square. The improvements included removing and replacing sidewalks to meet ADA standards, as well as the addition of new curb, lights, and handicap ramps to provide a friendlier and more accessible square for downtown businesses. The Eureka Street entrance to the Square was realigned to increase safety and to improve the accessibility of pedestrian areas. As part of the plan, landscaped islands, planters, and beds were added and/or improved. Additionally, green space was made available for events such as Spring Fest and the Polar Express™ Train Ride.

Mendrop provided engineering services to the Panola Partnership for the development and ongoing improvement of the Panola County Airport Industrial Complex. An Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant helped fund the initial development and construction of two 100,000 square foot building pads, as well as paved access and water and sewer utilities at the 220-acre Airport Industrial Complex site.

Beginning in 2011, the City of Batesville used funds from the Mississippi State Department of Health’s Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) to upgrade their existing meters with an Automated Meter Readering (AMR) System for all drinking water customers.

Upon completion of an evaluation of the long-term wastewater management needs, the City of Batesville contracted Mendrop Engineering Resources to develop a Wastewater Facilities Plan, including cost estimates and plans and specifications.
